A bistro, bar and café all under one roof is set to open in a village, hosting fire-eating entertainment and cook-your-own steak nights.
Jules in Birchington-on-Sea is due to launch this weekend, serving a variety of cuisines but also giving its space to death-defying entertainment.
It is a new venture for friends Julie Lawrence and Lesha Stanley, whose passion for cooking has inspired the business.
Jules, which has taken over a former gift shop in Station Road, is opening for a welcome party tomorrow (Saturday).
Ms Lawrence told KentOnline: "We are combining a bar, a bistro and a coffee shop all in one.
"We’ve put our heart and soul into it and I hope people like it."
The restaurant will be hosting pop-up nights including tapas, surf and turf, curries and even hot stone cook-your-own steak events.
Evening entertainment is also on the cards. Among the performers on the bill will be Mrs Stanley's daughter Maddie, who is a professional fire-breather.
The decor and food is designed to appeal to everyone, with vegan and vegetarian options included on the menu.
"We're passionate about the community" added Mrs Lawrence.
"Birchington is a lovely area and we have had a lot of interest in the village.
"There's been people knocking on the door asking to come in - everyone seems really excited which is absolutely fantastic."
The 47-year-old and her business partner have 14 children between them, meaning the process has been a family affair.
She explained: "Everything has been done ourselves; we are quite lucky we have a lot of skilled people like plumbers and electricians between the two families.
"We have recycled and upcycled a lot of things, and a much of it has been sourced locally through Facebook marketplace and charity shops.
"We only got the keys in the first week of January, so it's been a quick turnaround."
Husbands Malcom Stanley and David Flanagan have also been aiding them in the operation.
Jules will officially open from March 8 - initially during the day, but with an evening service to follow soon.
