A script from the famous 'Jolly Boys Outing' episode of Only Fools and Horses is set to fetch thousands after it was put up for sale on eBay.
The screenplay from the 1989 Christmas Day special, which sees Del Boy and Rodney enjoy a trip down to Margate, is being flogged by the relative of a make-up designer who worked on the hit sitcom.
Its upcoming sale has sparked an online bidding war, with the price already hitting £1,900 five days before the end of the auction.
Fifty bids have so far been placed on the sought-after script as memorabilia collectors battle to get their hands on it.
In describing the item, the seller has written: “This belonged to my late aunt, Dorka Nieradzik MBE, who was a make-up designer and presumably was the designer on this episode.
"The script is bound in a plastic cover, which has protected it from getting too foxed over the years.
"Her name is written in pen on the front page. I don't know whether she signed this herself. It does look like her writing, but it could well have been someone in production who wrote her name on it."
The famous 85-minute episode was filmed across Thanet, with the cast shooting scenes in Dreamland, the old Dumpton Market, Cliftonville and Broadstairs.
It was the legendary sitcom's eighth Christmas special and drew in 20 million viewers when it originally aired 32 years ago.
The screenplay, which will be sold to the highest bidder after 3pm on Wednesday, is hundreds of pages thick and is in the smaller A5 size, rather than the traditional A4 paper size.
Other scripts from Only Fools and Horses have previously fetched more than £4,000 - so expect to see the Jolly Boys Outing work rake in a cushty figure.
