Pair taken to hospital after dog attack in Margate as two men arrested

A man and woman were taken to hospital after a dog attack in Margate.

Emergency services were called to Dane Road shortly before 12.30pm yesterday to reports that a man had been bitten by a dog.

Police officers attended the scene alongside ambulance crews and a man and a women were taken to a local hospital with injuries.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of owning a dog dangerously out of control.

The dog has been seized.
