Margate: Two taken to hospital following crash on Marine Terrace, A28

Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on a seafront road this morning.

Ambulance crews and police were sent to the scene at the Marine Drive junction of Marine Terrace, A28, Margate shortly before 9am.

An ambulance spokesman said: "We were called at approximately 8.50am today to reports of an RTC on Marine Terrace, Margate.

"Two ambulance crews attended the scene.

"Two patient have been taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford."

Police have been contacted for more information.
