Police have seized more than 150 cannabis plants from a building in Ramsgate.

Officers discovered 95 mature plants and 64 saplings after they were called to a "disturbance" in Hereson Road.

No one was found inside the property last Monday, and police have now launched an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

Inspector Richard Palmer said: "It was a good piece of instinctive policing to uncover these plants which I have no doubt would have made it on to the streets were it not for the actions of the officers.

"Our enquiries into this remain on-going and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard suspicious activity in this area."
