It was reported to officers at Thanet District Council yesterday morning, who suspect it came from a tipper truck.

"Most people would agree, there is no excuse for flytipping," a TDC Facebook post reads.

"Our enforcement team was called out to Park Road, Birchington, yesterday morning after a dangerous flytip happened overnight.

"The waste was tipped across the roadway creating a hazard for drivers.

"One car suffered a puncture from hitting the debris but there could easily have been a more serious incident.

"Our officers were at the site early yesterday morning and cleared the waste away swiftly however there was no clear evidence to identify where the waste is from.

"We suspect it was from a tipper truck.

"It looks like it was from a floor screeding job and there was also blue paint in the waste.
"Our team would like to prosecute whoever did this.

"If you think you might know where the waste is from, please get in touch."

Flytipping incidents can be reported on the council's website.
