People from Margate, Ramsgate, Eltham, Plumstead and New Cross arrested after drug raids

Seven people have been arrested in Margate following two drug raids.

Class A drugs, cash, mobile phones and knives were seized by officers at two addresses in the town last week.

A 29-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and allowing the use of his premises for the supply of illegal substances. He has been bailed until March 3 while inquiries continue.

A boy from Eltham in London who is 16 was also arrested on suspicion supplying of Class A drugs. He too was bailed until March 3 while inquiries continue.

Tamisa Musonza, 18, from Plumstead in London, was arrested and later charged with criminal damage and the supplying of heroin and crack cocaine. She is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on December 21.

A 58-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of allowing the use of his premises for the supply of Class A drugs and he has been bailed until March 1 while inquiries continue.

Lucy Ann Laurence, 31, of Vine Close, Ramsgate, was arrested and later charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine.

19-year-old Cairo Adams, of New Cross, London, was arrested and later charged with possession of cannabis and supplying of heroin and crack cocaine.

A 17-year-old man, whose current address is not known, was arrested and later charged with again, supplying heroin and crack cocaine.

All three appeared at Channel Magistrates Court in Dover on Saturday and the cases were adjourned to Canterbury Crown Court on December 21.
