Boy suffers face wounds after stabbing at Westgate rail station

A 16-year-old boy has been treated for injuries to his face and neck after being stabbed at Westgate rail station.

British Transport Police are investigating the attack at just before 10pm last night.

Ambulance paramedics treated the teenager and three London men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

They remain in police custody today.

A police spokesman said detectives were today looking into CCTV possibilities around the station and surrounding areas, and scenes of crime officers were investigating.

The attack was in the first two coaches of the 9.34pm Ramsgate to Faversham service.
