Three men arrested after a boat carrying four Iraqis was found adrift off the coast of Ramsgate have been charged.
The trio were questioned when Border Force officers attended Ramsgate Harbour on Friday after two men, a pregnant woman and a child were rescued from a fishing vessel by the RNLI.
The men, who are all British, have been charged with assisting unlawful entry into the United Kingdom.
A Home Office spokesman said: "The three men have been charged and remanded in custody as part of the ongoing investigation."
