Ramsgate: Three Margate teenagers arrested after suspected race attack

Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of a race attack.

Two 17-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were taken into custody after the alleged assault in Ramsgate's town centre, which left a man in his 30s and another in his 50s with minor injuries.

The incident happened near the junction of Harbour Street and Charlotte Court on Friday, August 26, between 7.10pm and 7.20pm, but details have only just been released.

The three teenagers have been released on bail until later this month.

Investigating officer PC Hazel Edgar-Nevill said: "As this was the start of the bank holiday, it was a busy time in Ramsgate and we are sure there will be other people who have information which could assist our investigation."
