A baby suffered serous injuries after a motorbike crashed into a pram.
Police are appealing for information following the collision on land next to The Loop, Manston.
The motorbike also hit a van during the incident between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday.
The pram had two young children in. Both were taken to a local hospital but one has since been transferred to a London hospital with serious injuries.
The motorcyclist is understood to have stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which could assist the investigation.
