On June 25, the site will open its doors for the first time after hundreds of lovers of the dog breed voted for Kent to be the next location.

The cafe will take over the whole Pitcher and Piano venue and there will be an enclosed terrance where dogs will be off-lead.

Dog owners will be able to bring along their pets to the event which will have the world’s only pupuccino bar – dog-friendly toppings including blueberries and peanut butter sprinkles can be added to the treats for the animals to enjoy.

Rudi’s The Doggy Barkery will also be serving iced pupcakes and other treats.

There will be doggy-sized furniture, sunbeds, fun props, and cute photo opportunities.

The event is open to all dog lovers, and was created by Anushka and James who have a Pug named Bertie.

The team featured on the latest season of BBC’s Dragon’s Den where they shared their ideas for innovative dog events as well as their passion for bringing together a community of dog lovers.

For tickets visit the Pop and Bark website.

Last year a Dachshund cafe came to the same venue.
