Kent Fire and Rescue Service sends crew from Cranbrook to extinguish unattended bonfire in Granshaw Lane, Frittenden

Fire fighters extinguished an unattended bonfire in Frittenden yesterday evening.

The fire service received an emergency call at 6.44pm which reported seeing black smoke coming from Granshaw Lane.

One crew was sent from the Cranbrook station and the area was declared safe at 7.06pm.
