Police are at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on a busy dual carriageway.

The A21 in Lamberhust is closed between Rosemary Lane and Spray Hill (Scotney Castle Roundabout).

Emergency services were called at 11.34am and remain at the scene.

No serious injuries have been reported.

There are long queues building on nearby roads and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
