Kent's top-rated restaurant is opening its second site on a busy high street in the county.
Please Sir! launched in Broadstairs in 2020 and now two years on is preparing to open another eatery in Whitstable High Street.
Offering customers milkshakes, burgers and more, the restaurant is the best-reviewed in Kent on Tripadvisor, boasting a five-star rating.
Larger-than-life founder Steve Lawrence has revealed plans for the eatery to replace Tabitha's Kitchen at 41 High Street, with a similar look to its Broadstairs restaurant.
He took to Facebook Live to inform customers work will take about eight weeks to complete.
Recording from his Thanet site, he said: "It will look exactly like this and will be on a slightly bigger scale.
"Whitstable is about to get a new lease of life! It's probably going to take around eight weeks and it's going to be an amazing adventure.
"We then want to open another one - it could be Deal, Folkestone or Faversham. I previously wrote down I want six restaurants in 10 years. On September 5 I've been open two years and it's just been amazing.
"We're not going to move too quickly but within 10 years there will be Please Sir! all over the south east, I can assure you that. So whoever hasn't had it, it's time to get excited because your town could be next!"
Please Sir! currently has 416 reviews on TripAdvisor, with 405 people rating their experience as "excellent".
Our reporter also awarded its food five stars after visiting last summer.
