Suspected stolen motorcycles and cars were seized after a transporter was stopped.

Police stopped and searched the giant vehicle at 6.20pm on Wednesday at the Port of Dover when it was on its way to France.

They found it to be carrying two Honda motorcycles, a Ford Cougar, a Mini and an Audi A3 that they believe may have been stolen.

Krzystof Zenon Pawlowski, 34, of Turek, Poland was yesterday arrested and charged with disguising, concealing and transferring criminal property.

He was due to appear before Magistrates' Court by video link today (Friday).
