Man due in court after police chase in Dover ends with crash on Buckland Terrace

A man is due in court following a police pursuit which ended in a crash in Dover.

Officers on patrol in Salisbury Road on Saturday, September 5 had requested a vehicle pull over at 11.10pm.

But officers gave chase when the car failed to stop.

The pursuit came to an end on Buckland Terrace, near London Road, after the car and patrol car collided.

No one was hurt.

The man from Dover was arrested at the time and has now been summonsed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old will face charges of possession of cocaine, dangerous driving, failing to stop when required to do so, driving without insurance and driving without the correct licence.
