DETECTIVES investigating the death of a woman in London Road, Dover, on Monday night have released without charge a 40-year-old man they were questioning.

The body of 57-year-old Julie McGowan was found in the basement area of the house. Investigations are continuing into how she died.

An inquest is being opened tomorrow (Thursday)in Ashford.
