A man suffered life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a crash with a car at Maidstone.

The accident happened in London Road at its junction with the A20 and Somerfield Road on Wednesday morning.

The male biker is thought to have suffered chest injuries and was taken to Maidstone Hospital.

Police closed Buckland Hill after the crash and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
