Two men from Kent have been arrested on suspicion of being in one of Europe's top criminal gangs.

A 43-year-old man from Canterbury and a 69-year-old from Westerham were taken into custody and quizzed.

The gang is said to be responsible for masterminding an international drugs, guns and money laundering crime empire.

There have been 32 arrests in total including nine men and two women from the UK.

It follows a series of raids were made across Europe involving 750 police officers.
