Look out for bee-stung vandals, police ask

POLICE are appealing for information after several beehives were vandalised in a Kent town.

The damage to the private hives in the Whitfield area of Dover was carried out at some time between 1pm on December 29 and 10.45am on December 31. Sweet wrappers and a large trainer footprint were left at the scene.

The offenders are likely to have been stung by a sworm of angry bees and anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the crime unit on 01303 289180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
