CHARLTON manager Iain Dowie is demanding more of the same from Dennis Rommedahl after his inspirational performance as a substitute against Chelsea.

The enigmatic Denmark international winger came on for the injured Andy Reid and enjoyed by far his best game for the club since his £2million move from PSV Eindhoven in 2004.

He was a constant threat and gave England left-back Ashley Cole plenty of problems.

Dowie said: "Dennis did tremedously well. He certainly suited the role we asked him to play in. His delivery was outstanding and I like playing with width.

"He’s got frightening pace, he’s a handful and would run Linford Christie on his day."
