Fans of arts, crafts, and literature have a new place to browse.

The Works has opened in Westwood Cross shopping centre, with plenty of gift ideas in the run-up to Christmas.

The store is the brand’s largest in Kent and offers stationary, toys, and arts and crafts at discount prices.

Centre manager Francesca Donovan said: "We are thrilled to welcome the newest shop to the centre.

"The Works is a must-visit for all Christmas shoppers – from stocking fillers to wrapping paper and decorations, it’s a one-stop Christmas shop."

The new store also offers stationary essentials, party supplies, and merchandise from popular collections including Frozen 2 and Harry Potter.

The Works at Westwood Cross is open 9.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6.30 on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Also set to open soon is plus-size fashion retailer Yours.

Stocking fashionable and affordable clothing for women in sizes 16-36, the store will be open in time for Christmas.
