More on KentOnline
The Soundwalk has been created by writer Jeremy Scott and sound artist Anna Braithwaite. It includes contributions from students of Lower Halstow Primary School, and members of the Oast House Community Choir and Thames Barges Community.
The open days will offer help on how to scan the QR code and download the Echoes app if you haven't already done this.
You can then play the Hulked SoundWalk as you walk through a self-guided route at the Old Brickfields. As you walk the app will play automatically.
At the open days you can meet the artists, enjoy live music and take part in all ages workshops. There will also be talks by local heritage and environment experts, the opportunity to sail on the Edith May and visit the Ardwina sailing barge.
There will be further open days on 6 July and 28 September 2024.
