Families will be able to visit the park and see all the fantastic things Shorne Woods Country Park has to offer. Among many other exciting things there will be free facepainting, den building, pond dipping and fishing. The Ranger team will be on hand to answer any questions whilst the children will be able to climb aboard the tractor. River's animals will be available for a meet and greet. The community Archaeology team will be in attendance with their recent finds from the park. Our open days are a great way to understand more about the park and it's fundamental role within the community. Usual parking charges apply.
