Take your dog to Hever Castle for Castle Canines

It’s all about man's best friends at Hever Castle this weekend.

Castle Canines returns to Hever Castle on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, with displays, prizes and competitions all devoted to dogs.

You can parade your pooch at a dog show where rosettes are on offer for the most dashing dog, beautiful bitch, perfect pup and best dressed dog.

There will be displays and entertainment different breeds including Pets as Therapy Dogs, Guide Dog puppies, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Army dogs, Labrador Rescue, huskies from the Siberian Husky Welfare Association and the Southern Golden Retriever Display Team.

Newfoundland Dogs in Action will also be doing a water display on the lake, staging rescues.

There’s also have-a-go agility to enter, for £1 and how clever is your dog also for £1, plus plenty of stalls to browse.

Dogs on leads are welcome at Hever Castle & Gardens and its 125 acre grounds.
