Turkish restaurant on Sittingbourne High Street transformed under new ownership

Sponsored Editorial

A Turkish restaurant, based on Sittingbourne High Street, has been given a new lease of life, reopening as Anatolia Kitchen and Meze Bar, which now boasts a 5-star food hygiene rating.

The former occupant of the site, Cinar Kitchen, developed a poor reputation after it received a 1-star hygiene rating earlier this year, with the restaurant closing to the public shortly after.

.

Since then, new owners have taken over the space, bringing with them a brand-new team and delicious food and drink offering – completely transforming the venue so it is safe and ready to welcome back customers.

Anatolia Kitchen and Meze Bar serves healthy, authentic, good-quality Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. It can cater to all, including children, offering a comprehensive menu of tasty, traditional, crowd-pleasing dishes.

Customers can choose to dine in and enjoy the warm, welcoming, cosy restaurant atmosphere or order their favourite dishes to take away, with convenient local home delivery available.

You can begin your meal with a choice of cold or hot starters, including yapraksarma (vine leaves stuffed with a mixture of rice, onions and mixed herbs served with yoghurt), susuka (fried aubergine and mix pepper with tomato sauce), Sucukkavurma (panfried Turkish beef sausage) and sigaraboregi (deep fried filo pastry stuffed with feta cheese, parsley and dill).

.

Anatolia Kitchen’s popular authentic Turkish kebabs are all served with rice or chips, and there is also a selection of seafood dishes, salads, vegetarian dishes, steak, pasta and sides.

A few options from the Chef Specials include SarmaBeyti (seasoned lamb or chicken mince grilled over charcoal, wrapped in lavash bread and mozzarella, topped with tomato sauce and butter and served with yoghurt and bulgar) and Ali Nazik (smoked aubergine, mix peppers with garlic yoghurt and tahini topped with either chicken or lamb shish serve with rice).

The restaurant also offers a choice of beverages, including various teas and coffees, soft drinks and wines from Turkey, as well as all around the globe.

The team at Anatolia Kitchen and Meze Bar are looking forward to welcoming back customers, who can rest assured that the restaurant is serving top-quality food created in a safe, clean environment.
