Battle of Britain Air Show at Headcorn Aerodrome going ahead this weekend

A popular air show commemorating the Battle of Britain is going ahead this weekend.

The 80th Anniversary Battle of Britain Air Show at Headcorn Aerodrome, which attracts thousands of visitors each year, had been put back by three months in the hope it could still be staged.

It will now be held this weekend, from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, but with safety measures and pre-booked tickets only.

Those who bought tickets for the event in June will be able to use them for this weekend, but keeping the same day.

Or tickets can be used for next year's show, the dates for which have been confirmed as Friday, June 25 to Sunday, June 27, 2021.

There will be a one-day system in operation this weekend, with displays running from noon to 4pm.
