Festive Flashback Films to be screened for £5 at Showcase Cinema de Lux in Bluewater, Greenhithe

A Kent cinema is set to screen a number of family films over the festive period with discounted tickets.

Showcase Cinema de Lux in Bluewater will be screening its Festive Flashback Films series until Christmas Eve.

Tickets to the Christmas screenings in Greenhithe have been reduced to £5 per person and family packages, which includes four tickets, can be purchased for £18.

There are a range of festive films to choose from, including Miracle on 34th Street, Arthur Christmas, Home Alone and Elf, with a selection of dates available to book in December.

There are also a number of family favourites, such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and the Greatest Showman, being shown as part of the series.

The series also features a selection of films suitable for older audiences, including Love Actually, Gremlins and Die Hard.

However, there are two films that are excluded from the £5 cinema ticket offer.

Dick Whittington and His Cat and Royal Batter: The Nutcracker are not part of the Festive Flashback Films offer.

This cinema offer comes as part of the Christmas season at Bluewater, which also includes the Believe experience, where children can meet Father Christmas, the Winterland market and funfair, and the undercover outdoor ice rink.

There are also a number of pop-ups at the shopping centre this December, including Christmas Magic, Xmas Castle, Anno Distillers, Calendar Club and Lyre’s.

Bluewater has also confirmed its Christmas shopping hours. The centre will be open from 9am to 6pm on Christmas Eve and 8am to 7pm on Boxing Day, with further changes to its opening times continuing until Tuesday, January 3.
