The performer’s time in the jungle got off to a rocky start as he faced walking the plank and dangling from the top of a huge building in the Gold Coast.

His fear of heights led to him uttering the infamous words and opting out of the first challenge, leaving it all in the capable hands of fellow contestants, Loose Women’s Charlene White and former Lioness and eventual Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott.

During his time in the outback, Babatunde ended up facing his fears and took on a number of other trials, winning stars for camp and finishing in seventh place. He lasted 18 days in the jungle.

Following his stint in the Australian wilderness, Babatunde announced his debut tour would be visiting venues across the country.

The powerhouse performer has appeared on comedy shows such as House of Games, Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains and Comedians Giving Lectures.

He has also shown off his acting chops in the past, having worked on the likes of Waking the Dead, Pelican Blood and Iya Ilé at the Soho Theatre.
