Canterbury Food & Drink Festival 2019: Urban Food Tour cooking lessons and taster sessions in Kent

The Urban Food Tour will once again be going hand-in-hand with the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival following it’s hugely popular introduction to the city last year.

The Canterbury Food & Drink Festival is the largest and most spectacular celebration of food, drink and culture in the county.

Taking place on September 21st, The Canterbury Ales are to host a special evening of brewing history, references to Ale in medieval England and lots of delicious tasting.

Whether it’s local produce, new and exciting treats or brilliant ales, this highly-anticipated event showcases the very best that Canterbury and Kent has to offer in gastronomy and you too can be part of it and walk away with some new skills and ideas.

All but one of the workshops are ticketed, with prices ranging from £15 to £56 per person.

"Taking place at various locations around the city of Canterbury on Thursday, September 19, the Urban Food Tour is an extension of the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival,” said Matt Blair who is the Event Marketing Coordinator at The Event Umbrella - the organisers for Urban Food Tour.

“There will be a series of workshops organised in partnership with some of Canterbury’s best-loved food and drink producers and some will be suitable for both adults and children.”
