If you feel tired just thinking about running 5K or 10K, then there’s an event coming to Maidstone this weekend which could be perfect for you.

The Mason Mile is a family-friendly one-mile event and will be staged at Mote Park on Sunday, June 9.

Organised by a Kent-based family wellbeing charity, and supported by Wellbeing People and Golding Vision, it’s a chance to start getting some exercise; just get outside, or walk the dog.

The free event will feature races every 30 minutes from 11am, plus activities throughout the day and prizes on offer.

There will also be free health checks and healthy snacks, as well as a pet show at 1pm. Sign up at themasonmile.com
