Henning Wehn to headline Live at the Marlowe in Canterbury in January 2024

January can be a gloomy month, but TV star Henning Wehn is hoping to put a smile on the faces of Kent fans.

The comedian will headline Live at the Marlowe in Canterbury next month, with support from three rising stars of the circuit.

German-born stand-up Henning is best known for appearing on shows such as Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and Have I Got News For You.

He has also presented travel show the Road to Rio alongside fellow comedian Mark Watson and An Immigrant's Guide to Britain on Channel 4.

For his set at the Marlowe Theatre’s regular comedy night, Henning will be joined by Ali Woods, who recently completed a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Janine Harouni, who has starred in Buffering, the Stand Up Sketch Show and her own Amazon Prime special, and Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominee Josh Jones will also be performing on the night.

The comedy showcase has been a taking place at the theatre for several years and has featured sets from the likes of Tom Allen, James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Nina Conto and Rob Delaney in the past.
