There is also a 20% discount every Wednesday as well as a cut-price offer of just £4.95 for all 50 cocktails at Tacos Locos on Tuesdays.

“When people think of Mexican cuisine it’s almost always associated with sun and summer,” said businessman Musa Kivrak, who owns a number of restaurants around Kent.

“This is why we feel now is a great time to give the locals some fantastic offers at Tacos Locos. There are special deals for children, those wanting to head on a night out for drinks or just general discounts.

“It’s summer - let’s enjoy it!”

The food menu has over 70 tapas and main courses from sizzling Fajitas to our spare ribs.

Many people think Mexican food can be too hot to handle in summer but that’s not entirely true.

Mexican cuisine has a wide range of flavours and while many spices are used for cooking, not all are spicy.

“There is a preconception by some people that Mexican food is more spicy than say Indian food but that is not necessarily the case,” continued Musa.

There is a wide range of Tequilas, Loco Iced Teas, Sangrias as well as Tacos Locos' famous Margaritas.

“Diners here have the option to order food mild but even if they don’t like any spicy food, then there is also a variety of dishes on the menu such as ribs, Caesar Salad and combos which is quite rare.

“Or they can tuck into our fantastic beef ribs that are slow-cooked for eight hours in the oven.”

It has been a busy last couple of years for Musa and his team.

A couple of years ago, he acquired two listed buildings - that had been previously boarded up - in Sittingbourne’s famous High Street before renovating them and opening them up as Tacos Locos and Italian eatery Amalfi.

“I felt the High Street needed something new and with no Mexican or Italian restaurant in the area, I thought Tacos Locos and Amalfi would go down well with the locals,” continued Musa.

“The reaction so far has been great.

“Sittingbourne is really on the up and efforts continue to rejuvenate the area, especially the High Street.”
