Last year the ice rink was launched at the exclusive venue after evidence was found that Queen Victoria used to skate on the frozen lake there almost 150 years ago.

Visitors can also do some shopping at Champneys' Christmas boutique.

A session of 50 minutes of skating and skate hire costs £14.50 and £9.50 pp for children under 12.
