It's a weekend to seek out some of Kent's treasures.

The Kent Big Weekend 2016 will be held on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13.

The two-day ticket giveaway gives thousands of people the chance to visit tourist attractions and venues across the county every year.

And next year will be the event's 10th anniversary.

Organised by Visit Kent, it aims to encourage local people to get out and about in their home county, and spread the world to friends and family.

Last year, more than 100 big and small attractions donated tickets to the online ballot, and over 105,000 people registered for 20,000 free tickets.

As part of the birthday celebrations, there will be some special additions and bonus prizes.
