Tickets for Kent Garden Show 2019 in Detling, Kent between Saturday, May 25 and Monday, May 27

Looking for some inspiration or something to spring your garden back to life with summer fast approaching?

The annual Kent Garden Show returns in late May with more stunning floral displays along with a range of gardening goods for sale.

Taking place at the Kent Showground in Detling, near Maidstone, this year’s Kent Garden Show will get underway on Saturday, May 25 and finish on Monday, May 27.

Doors will open from 9:30am and close at 5pm while last admission is at 4pm on Saturday and Sunday and 3:30pm on Monday.

“This beautiful event showcases the very best in horticulture and floriculture and what better surroundings to host this spectacle than in our very own garden of England,” said Will Chesson who is the Kent Garden Show organiser.

“Visitors can browse and shop around impressive nurseries, garden furniture, water features, garden sheds and buildings, tools, sculptures and floral decorations.”

The event will feature over 300 exhibitors - which will include medal winners from Chelsea - with floral marquees and their stunning floral displays as well as around 60 nurseries.

There will also be a craft pavilion, food hall, brass band and children's rides while the 2019 Gardening Quiz Time will be held at the Maidstone Exhibition Hall during the show.

“This event really is a must-visit for fans of horticulture but also for people in search of some ideas to give their gardens a real wow factor,” continued Will.

“We will have garden specialists in attendance including Jim Buttress - a renowned horticulturalist - on Saturday while guest speaker Jacqueline Aviolet will be present throughout the weekend for any questions on gardening.”

Tickets will be available on the gate with the cost at £8 for adults and £7 for seniors. There is no admittance charge for children (up to 16).

With the exception of guide dogs, dogs are not permitted at the show.

Pre-paid tickets are available until Tuesday, May 21 (if posted) and until Friday, May 24 (if emailed) .
