FARM SHOP/DELI OF THE YEAR

Sponsored by Rochester Bridge Trust, judged by Jane Beedle

Brambledown Farm Shop, Sheppey

“Our island's little treasure with locally sourced fresh fruit and veg produce.”

Macknade, Faversham

“Superb selection of food and drink sold by knowledgeable and pleasant staff. By far the best cheese counter in the county and a fantastic selection of Kentish wines and ciders.”

Perry Court Farm, Ashford

“Relaxed atmosphere - the farm dogs are much in evidence (though kept away from food) and customers' dogs are also made welcome. A favourite destination.”

“They are always very welcoming and friendly. At Christmas they pay for a brass band and put on a free event with food and hot drinks for their community.”

Coffee Corner, Ashford

“I am a regular in Coffee Corner, the staff are so polite and friendly, always cheerful and always go the extra mile. Nothing is too much trouble.”
