Kent County Youth Orchestra's Summer Concert featuring violin soloist Chloe Hanslip

The cream of the county’s young musicians will perform with internationally-acclaimed violinist Chloe Hanslip at Kent County Youth Orchestra’s Summer Concert.

For the first time, aspiring violinists and music enthusiasts can enjoy a masterclass with Chloe, 26, the evening before the concert.

The orchestra will present a programme of popular classics with the theme East Meets West, featuring the works of some of Russia and America’s finest composers.

The mix includes Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland, the Overture from Carlos Breugnon by Kabalevsky, Violin Concerto by Barber and Symphonic Dances by Rachmaninov.
