The dockyard's annual service Armistice Day Commemoration Service returns this year. The service, which takes place at one of Kent's most notable wartime locations, will begin at the site's National Destroyer Memorial, beside the HMS Cavalier, and invites visitors to lay their own tributes if they wish. Members from the HMS Cavalier Association and the former Bishop to the Armed Forces will be part of the service, after which crowds can explore the maritime attraction. Please note, the service is free to attend but you will need a valid ticket to enter the dockyard's exhibitions and galleries.
