Rob Beckett announces Giraffe stand-up tour, coming to Chatham, Dartford and Canterbury

The tour then continues at venues across the country until early 2026, including dates at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.

“‘This is gonna be a big old tour,” says the TV star. “It’ll be tough being away from the family for a while. Don’t get me wrong, I love my children/podcast content providers, but I do also enjoy a lie-in and a hotel buffet breakfast, so I’m sure I’ll cope. I expect to put on about three stone from takeaways and drinking after the shows!”

After attending Coopers School in Chislehurst alongside fellow Bromley comic Tom Allen and Canterbury Christ Church University for three years, Rob Beckett became a familiar face on panel shows such as Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

He went on to present I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, the main show’s ITV2 spin-off, until 2014 and has provided the voiceover for E4’s Celebs Go Dating since 2016, all while continuing to perform live in theatres in the UK and aboard.

His Sky Max show with Romesh Ranganathan, Rob and Romesh Vs..., in which the pair learn new skills from experts in the world of sport and entertainment, has seen the presenters take on challenges such as playing an NFL game in America and performing in Swan Lake.

In 2020, Rob launched the chart-topping Parenting Hell podcast, which he co-hosts with the Last Leg’s Josh Widdicombe. The show has racked up more than 250 million downloads and sold out arenas on its live tour last year.

The hosts are set to pair up again soon for the new panel show, Rob Beckett’s Smart TV, where they will be joined by team captain Alison Hammond and a series of guests who will put their TV trivia to the test.

Tickets for Rob Beckett’s new tour, Giraffe, go on general sale on Friday, February 23 at 11am. Tickets will be available online here.

The tour will start at Chatham’s Central Theatre on Tuesday, November 19.

The comedian will then return to Kent for shows at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Friday, December 6 2024 and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on Sunday, May 18 2025.
