Dreamland, Margate wants your seaside memories and stories

Since last year's reopening, bosses at Dreamland have been inundated by people wanting to share their memories of summertime trips to Margate.

Now, the seaside attraction is hosting Return to Dreamland this weekend, when people can share their stories to help create a new Dreamland archive.

Between 10am and 7pm on Saturday, March 19, visitors can pop along with their memorabilia to have it all officially recorded. Concert posters, programmes, ticket stubs, photos - anything that screams 'Wish You Was Here' and relates to Dreamland's golden age is needed.

When you arrive, you’ll be asked to register and assigned a member of the team to share your memories with.

The classic amusement park reopened its gates to the public in June last year after an 11-year campaign to bring back to life one of Britain’s best known seaside institutions.

If you can't get along to Margate on Saturday, you can email your stories and photos to learning@dreamland.co.uk
