Folkestone Trawler Race with a raft race and fish pie competition is this weekend

There's some fishy business coming to Folkestone this weekend with the annual trawler race and fish pie competition.

The trawler race on Saturday, August 17, with a parade of crews and boats before the battle of flour and water begins at 11am and the racing at 12.30pm.

This will be followed by a raft race on Sunday, August 18 and fish pie competition, with the homemade rafts taking to the water from noon.

There'll also be pop-up stalls and a live music stage.

All the fun will happen around The Stade and Sunny Sands.
