Margate: Dreamland hosts big names for its Sunset Sessions

Big music names are lining up to bring summer sounds to Dreamland.

The Sunset Sessions, which will run through to Saturday, August 18, includes Craig Charles, Norman Jay MBE and Sara Cox on its line-up.

Actor, host and broadcaster Craig Charles is bringing the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club to the Sunset Sessions when he plays on Friday, May 4, accompanied by Don Letts.

Following Craig is David Rodigan, who will be bringing his encyclopaedic knowledge of reggae to the Scenic Stage, accompanied by Adrian Sherwood, on Thursday, May 26.

Next on the sun-soaked line-up will be hugely respected DJ Norman Jay MBE, who plays the Sunset Sessions on Saturday, June 9, after which will be a Dreamlands Block Party on Saturday, July 21.

Music events continue with Trojan Sound System on Saturday, August 4, the fun-filled colourful Margate Pride festivities on Saturday, August 11 and DJ Sara Cox presents Just Can’t Get Enough 80s on Saturday, August 18, rounding off the summer in true 80s style.
