Dig out your shoulder pads, pretzels and hotdogs, because the Super Bowl is coming to Kent.
A huge event for Americans, the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will meet at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday to decide the 2019 Super Bowl champions.
And Dreamland in Margate is hoisting the Stars and Stripes by hosting its first Super Bowl Sunday party on Sunday, February 3.
Family events run from 1pm, with the party starting at 7pm. The big screen will show the live action from Atlanta from 10pm to 4am, and the Tail Spin diner and bar will stay open until 4am for the occasion.
Dreamland chief operating officer Steve Gotkine said: "We really wanted to make an event out of Super Bowl Sunday, for people of all ages. So we’ve created a family-friendly event during the day with sports entertainment to help people get into the spirit of the game – even if they can’t manage to stay up to watch it. Why not dress up to support your favourite team?"
New American-themed dishes are being launched at the diner to mark the event. They include dirty burgers, crispy chicken, hot dogs, loaded fries and BBQ chicken wings.
