The writer and performer will bring her new show, the Trouble and Strife, to the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury as part of her nationwide tour.

The live shows come fresh off the back of Lucy’s appearance on acclaimed panel show Taskmaster.

The 16th series saw Lucy take on a series of challenges alongside fellow contestants Julian Clary, Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins and Susan Wokoma from September to November last year.

After starting her stand-up career by performing at So You Think You're Funny in 2011, Lucy later won the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2013 and her 2014 Edinburgh Fringe show, We Can Twerk It Out, was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award that year.

In 2015, the award-winner married fellow comedian Jon Richardson, who is best known for being a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

The pair have a daughter, born in 2016, and live in their family home in Yorkshire.

Together, they created the mockumentary-style sitcom, Meet the Richardsons, for Dave.

The show, now on its fourth season, has featured guest stars such as Rob Beckett, Alex Brooker, Russell Howard and David Tennant and saw Lucy nominated for a TV BAFTA for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme last year.

The Trouble and Strife will be at the Marlowe Theatre on Friday, March 1. You can book tickets online here.
