Live stage shows in Kent this week including Six the musical and comedian John Bishop

Now that the long months lacking live shows is over, the county's theatres are buzzing with acts.

We find five fabulous shows at theatres across Kent in the next week.

Six the Musical

Nominated for five Olivier Awards SIX features the six wives of Henry VIII taking to the mic to tell their tales, remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.

The rescheduled show from 2020 is at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley from now until Saturday, October 23. There are a few tickets left. To book click here. Following that, Priscilla Queen of the Desert will open on Monday, October 25.

Comedian Ed Byrne

TV favourite Ed Byrne’s latest tour sees the comic taking a long hard look at himself and deciding whether he has any traits worth passing on to his children. He is at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Monday, October 25 and next spring he is at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on February 13; Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury on March 5 and Central Theatre, Chatham on April 20.

The Play That Goes Wrong

Will things go according to plan? Probably not - but that's half the fun! Mischief’s multi award-winning comedy featuring the accident-prone Cornley Drama Society trying to put on a 1920s murder mystery, is directed by Sean Turner, who also is now artistic director of the nearby Trinity Theatre.

Peter Pan

The classic J.M. Barrie tale of a young boy who refuses to grow up comes to the Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks this weekend. On a quest to find stories with which to entertain his young cohorts in Neverland, Peter returns to the real world and meets Wendy, Michael, and John Darling.
