Three day Canterbury Food and Drink Festival in Dane John Gardens

A three-day feast for foodies comes to Canterbury this weekend.

The Canterbury Food and Drink Festival at Dane John Gardens in the city from Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, will feature artisan treats with more than 120 traders and stalls. as well as live music, walkabout theatre and a kids' area.

A showcase for the cathedral city’s culinary scene, there will be street food from around the world, cheeses and wines and a festival bar, as well as burgers and a Korean barbecue, plus plenty of vegetarian and vegan offerings.

Local businesses from across the county will be offering their products, including the Copper Rivet Distillery in Chatham, Kentish Cider and Whitstable Oyster Company, who will be bringing a slice of the seaside to Dane John Gardens.

The event includes a buskers' stage and band stand as well as DJs and theatre performers, plus a kids' area for families.

Free to attend, it will run from 10am to 6pm on the Friday and Saturday and 10am to 5pm on the Sunday.
