Biddenden Tractorfest and Country Fair will have more than 200 tractors

More than 200 tractors will be rolling in to a celebration of rural life this weekend which attracts thousands each year.

The seventh annual Biddenden Tractorfest and Country Fair, which comes to its new, larger venue of Woolpack Corner in Biddenden, on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18 will see a record number of tractors ready for inspection.

Some 17,000 visitors turned out to see the nostalgic scenes including tractor rides, working cob horses and falconry displays.

The not for profit fair which is run for volunteers aiming for a friendly, laid-back weekend, sees proceeds going to local clubs and charities.

There will also be local crafts, children's entertainment including a pets' corner and plenty of food and drink as well as live music on the Trailer Stage, hosted by The Rockits! with vocal entertainer and All Together Now judge Chris Shannon on the Saturday and acts including Fred Clarke, Marylebone Jelly and Donnington Ukelele.
