The pop singer, who is originally from Bromley, will be at Bluewater on Wednesday, December 10 from 4pm to make the appearance in celebration of her role as the new face of Magnitone Lucid, a facial cleansing brush.

A limited edition product endorsed by Pixie is being sold at House of Fraser in Bluewater. As a result of a competition the brand's running, 150 winners will have the chance to meet Pixie to talk skincare and beauty at the Magnitone Stand outside House of Fraser while onlookers enjoy the sight of the star.

Pixie was at the centre of the shock Strictly Come Dancing result on Sunday night, when she was voted off at the quarter final stage; an unforeseen week 10 outcome.

Previously among the favourites to win the dance talent show, Pixie had come first in the rankings for Saturday night's challenging 'waltz-a-thon' and had won nothing but praise from the judges from the series' outset.

Due to audience votes however, Pixie, 23, ended up in the bottom two on Sunday night's show for the first time, and went into a dance-off against Simon Webbe, another pop performer from the boy band Blue.

Despite Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli voting to save Pixie and her dancing partner Trent Whiddon, Darcey Bussell and Len Goodman both voted for Simon and his partner Kristina Rihanoff to remain in the competition, with head judge Len's casting vote finalising the matter. Len is also originally from Bromley, and has a dance school - Goodman Dance Academy - in Dartford.

As she left the competition on Sunday, Pixie said: "I am sad that I won't get to learn the Salsa and the American Smooth next week. I have honestly loved this experience so much and I am so pleased that I decided to do it.

"I couldn't have asked for a better dance partner - honestly, Trent, you have been amazing. I have learnt so much and I am so grateful for it.'

The remaining celebrity dancers in the Strictly Come Dancing semi finals include Frankie Bridge, Simon Webbe, Caroline Flack, Mark Wright and Jake Wood.

Kent's only other celebrity contestant, Masterchef's Gregg Wallace from Whitstable, was the very first to leave the competition.
